On Sunday, 8th July 2012 from 10.00am until 12.30pm, Teochew Association at Chulia Street will hold a Chinese Opera Workshop. Admission for the workshop is free-of-charge but pre-registration is required. Call our hotline 011 − 1283 3846 now; as seats are limited.
The workshop is meant to develop participants’ skill in the unique way of integrating music and movements in the Chinese opera style. The workshop will also expand participants’ creative potential, talent, imaginative power and creativity. In the workshop, they will choose a role to enact in an experimental piece, and will experience how different roles require different movements and hand gestures.
